I have owned dogs and cats all of my life, and I can't wait to meet you and your fur-babies! I have been pet sitting dogs and small animals for around 8+ years now and have boarded many dogs during this time with many regular clients. I have experience with senior and special needs pups! I share my home with my husband Marc, whom will also be caring and cuddling with your babies during their stay. We love and care for all breeds, sizes and temperaments, and will host them as long as they are comfortable with our fur-babies, Tiny, Lyla, Ellie, Auggie, Sabrina and Izzy. Tiny is a 13 year old Dachshund, Lyla is a 10 year old black and white, fuzzy terrier mix, Ellie is a 5 year old Blue Heeler/Terrier mix, Auggie is a young 1 year old Dachshund pup, Sabrina is a 5 year old black cat and Izzy is a 7 year old Bengal cat! Our cats are extremely dog friendly, they love snuggling and rubbing on dogs.

Kayla kept my girl overnight and I came back to a very happy pup! I loved getting pictures with updates and I could tell my sometimes nervous girl was happy and relaxed. I appreciated that she was able to give my special needs dog her medications and Kayla made sure she had nice, comfortable places to relax. Drop off and pick up was easy, and she has a nice fenced backyard that my pup was eager to explore and enjoy. I didn't stress while I was away because I felt I was leaving my dog in very capable and caring hands. Judging by my dog's demeanor when I returned, I was correct.

Our Ollie feels so comfortable at Kayla’s. She sends pictures and how he is doing. Ollie being a rescue I think he knows when we leave him there he knows we are coming back. Very happy to see us. 5 stars
Our Ollie, a GP, loves to go to Kayla for boarding while we take a vacation. Hie happy and content there. Highly recommend Kayla.

SAFETY, TRUST, & ENVIRONMENT: Our home has a completely fenced in backyard that is perfect for your pups to lounge in while you are on vacation. We also have a couple of spare bedrooms, with queen size beds ideal for their midday naps(although they are welcome to nap on any of the furniture). Each 'Vacay' day for your pup includes multiple potty breaks in the backyard plus unlimited indoor playtime inside the home. I am also able to supervise your pups and provide transportation to a vet in case of a pup-mergency. If booking drop in visits or day care, photos will be in the Rover card but can be sent in chat as well upon request. Looking to board your pup? Please message me so that we can discuss your requirements. Meet & Greets(Subject to availability): Meet and greets are offered at the pet parents preference. They can be overwhelming so I will not introduce dogs during a meet and greet. All of the dogs in my care will be secured indoors. This gives your dog(s) time to explore our yard, and you and I to chat without the worry of forced dog interaction. When your dog's stay begins, they are given time to acquaint themselves with our home. Once they are settled and have decompressed, I introduce all dogs individually outside or with the use of gates. That way, the dogs can sniff each other and meet in a safe and controlled manner. Extended Care Fee: Nightly boarding rates are based on a 24 hour time period from drop-off to pick-up. The following extended care rates may apply for each pet on the booking if the end time on the final day of the stay is more than 2 hours later than the start time on the first day of the stay. 2-8 additional hours: +50% of the nightly rate. 8+ additional hours: +100% of the nightly rate. *Please be sure to include pickup/drop off times in request. All drop offs and pickups are by appointment only and occur in the backyard by the double gates.* **Please arrive within your appointment time, I unfortunately cannot ensure availability outside the designated appointment window** ***If time frames are not entered, please note I may need to manually adjust to add on any applicable extended care rate*** ****I ask everyone to message me when they are on the way so that I can be ready for your arrival. Dogs must be house broken (unless it is a young puppy). ***If male marks indoors I will use a belly band*** *** Pets cannot have fleas or ticks and must be on a preventive*** I love all kinds of dogs but unfortunately cannot take aggressive dogs. I have no breed restrictions -but they must be friendly and social. Pet(s) must have enough food to cover their entire stay. If pet(s) has an inadequate amount food and runs out, the owner is required to either order the food for delivery or the booking will incur a convenience fee for having to source their food in addition to the cost of the food itself. If your pet has anxiety, prescribed medicine must be provided at drop off. If your pet requires constant care due to separation anxiety, a quote can be generated at an hourly rate. Constant care availability is limited. Please answer the following either by listing it in your pet profile or in a message to me: -Does your pet get along with other dogs/cats? -Is your pet house trained? -Are there any medical or health issues I need to be made aware of, such as allergies, dietary restrictions, medications etc? -What is your pet's feeding schedule? -What is your pet's bedtime preference (time/favorite spot/bed/kennel? Are they allowed on furniture? -Is your pet up to date on vaccinations, including rabies, parvo combo, bordetella, as well as on a monthly flea and tick preventative? -Does your pet have any resource guarding tendencies, aggression toward other pets or people? -Does your pet have any quirks that I should be aware of? If you have a bed, blanket, crate or toys that make your pet feel more at home and comfortable, please feel free to bring them! A typical day
A typical day all depends on your dogs energy level. If they're couch potatoes, then we'll sit and watch tv with walks in the backyard every few hours. If your dog is more on the active side then we'll be spending more time out in the backyard(weather permitting) running and playing out their energy. We have tons of toys and balls to keep them entertained!

SCHEDULE: I have a flexible schedule and can try to accommodate your schedule as best as possible for pick ups/drop offs. All drop offs and pickups are by APPOINTMENT ONLY and occur in the backyard by the double gates. I understand life happens, if you need a new appointment, please contact me ASAP to try to schedule a new appointment(availability is NOT guaranteed). I ask for a text when on the way with an ETA to anticipate your arrival, failure to not send a message and/or showing up outside appointment times repeatedly will result in your booking being cancelled and being dropped as a client. I work a hybrid schedule full-time as a Engineer, my week is split between working from home and going into to the office. On days I go into the office I will give everyone a potty break before leaving and upon arrival, and are never alone for more than 4 hours. On days I work from home, everyone is given potty breaks every ~2 hours. I’m available for boarding and drop in visits throughout the week and day care on days I work from home and weekends. Hours of operation - We accept drop offs/pick ups between 7AM-7PM by APPOINTMENT ONLY. An additional charge of $10 will be added for drop off or pick up between 6AM-7AM. If your itinerary or schedule requires a drop off earlier than 6AM, we will schedule an overnight boarding with drop off arrangements for the night prior. This will reduce disruptions to your pet and our family.
