I have always loved all animals; I have been vegan and an animal rights activist for 6 years now. Aside from that, I've just always advocated for animals, and felt a bond with them; especially cats and dogs. I understand their ranging energy levels. And I feel I have great instincts when caring for them, they help me by embracing their playful innocence and appreciating the simple joys of life, like pet therapy! I also have about 15 years of experience caring for pets of all kinds- many of which I grew up with. Ive also watched over little creatures such as birds, turtles & bunnies. I am fairly new to Rover, though I know how important it is for your pet to feel at home and not just be walked and fed but cared about and that is naturally in my nature. I have a degree in Biology/ Health Science from SUNY Brockport and am currently Persuing my passion of creating music and writing. I use to volenteer a lot at our local humane society where I grew up & I believe I am able to quickly respond and adapt to any situations. I will of course respect your wishes, And any special accomodations your pet may need! I feel home care seems to provide that sense of security and diminishes any anxiety they may have I feel most myself around animals, they embody such a pure hearted-ness and jubilance that makes me feel happy and live in the present moment more! It's fun & peaceful I like to give any animal their own space and let them come to me once they warm up which is usually right away. If they want to play fetch, watch a show, do some fun tricks on a walk- it all depends on the dog / cat but I adjust easily. I keep everything clean and I'm extremely respectful of others homes, for me, Trust is the most important thing along with respect I do like to get outside and get creative so for certain your animal(s) will never get bored!
