My father has owned a dog training business since I was nine years old, allowing me to gain animal and training experience with two month old puppies to senior dogs. My family has also owned dogs my whole life, in which I own six dogs at the moment (two Shih Tzus and four Border Collies), whom I miss dearly when I am away at college, making me eager to be a rover sitter. Additionally, I want to become a small animal veterinary, so I have interned at a veterinary clinic which has added to my knowledge of animal behavior and well-being. I have also been a research assistant for canine behavior research, looking at feeding preferences, and I am excited to participate in more companion animal cognition and welfare research at UC Davis as an animal science major!
