Pet care experience
I have experience with dogs I grew up with. Have also pet sat for friends on occasion prior to pet sitting on Rover. My real expertise is cats, but my family and I love to welcome doggy friends into our home! Dogs are never without a friend when they come here. My kids are involved in the care and playing with dogs who come to visit. We have a large unfenced yard but we go on walks and run around the yard with leashed dogs. Some of our furry friends enjoy sitting on warm laps while we homeschool!

Kayla set my mind at ease. My Chihuahua is 18 and on meds. She is very good about everything! Her children are helpful too. I can't say enough of how great she is. My dog was so calm and taken care of as one of her own pets.
Kayla is the absolute best! I never worry about leaving my kitty Bean with her! She is so attentive and caring and I couldn’t ask for a better cat sitter!
Kayla & her family were great w/Chance. I appreciate them being available @the last minute. Her kids were great playmates w/him. She was a great communicator too! I loved the pictures & videos that she sent. I will definitely use her if I visit Athens again.

We have two cats that are free to roam the house. If needed, we have a very large master suite where all of their things are located and they are happy as clams to be closed in there when needed. We have a large, wooded backyard but it is not closed in by a fence. For overnight boarding, we keep kennels in our living room. Cats are welcome to roam the house, or we have a guest room that can be a suite if they prefer a smaller space to feel safe. Any pet is in for a lot of affection, love, and playtime from myself, my husband, and my three children.

A typical day
We go on several short walks up and down our cul de sac when we have a dog all day. We also have "trails" raked through the backyard where we take the dogs walking and running on leashes to play. While we complete our homeschool day dogs enjoy cuddling on laps.
