Pet care experience
I've been caring and providing for animals for 4 years. I have experience with puppies, adult dogs and seniors, as well as special needs animals. Along side dogs I have experience in caring for other pets including cats, birds and reptiles! I am capable of distributing medication of all kinds, including insulin injections. Every pet is different and owners know their best friend best, building relationships and communication with owners is a tremendous part of providing top paw care and has always been something i strive to achieve with all of my guests. So even though nothing compares to the people and place they call home, rest assured knowing I'm your pets home away from home! Currently I am a full time dog mom and I am super flexible with just about any schedule to make sure I meet all of my pet parents needs! When visiting a clients home I pride myself on being a trustworthy and reliable caretaker for their pet. I adhere to your pets schedule making sure they feel as comfortable as possible, I also happily provide updates and pictures to the owner as frequently as they desire(:

Amazing host! Our dog came back super happy, and with a new personalized scarf!
Kayla was the best! She kept us updated and communicated well the whole time. We needed her to watch our dog another day and she was super flexible and accommodating. She even dropped him off with a bandana, a treat basket and freshly brushed. We would absolutely use her again.
Kayla is always so great with Waffles! She goes out of her way to make your pet feel loved & welcome :) even made waffles a bow tie and bandanna! I’ll always recommend her!
Kayla and her little helpers are awesome! I did not have to worry about my dogs being bored. I have one dog that is a runner, and another that has some separation anxiety; I felt comfortable leaving them both with her. She brushed them out and made very cute bandanas for them. Highly recommend!

Safety is priority, I follow owner preference when it comes to the routine of their animals. Veering too far away from what an animal is already comfortable with can be pretty stressful and stress is the last thing you or your pet should have to worry about.

There are a few things that I must know in order to provide the perfect pet care! .Updated vaccine records (Bordetella, rabies, and distemper) .Breed/age .Any special needs (i.e medications physical/behavioral/over all health conditions) .Food preferences .Habits they have or concerns you might have .Child/animal friendly . Anything you feel I should be aware of.
A typical day
The possibilities are endless when it comes to the fun and exciting things we can do, from a simple walk around the neighborhood to a scenic stroll down the river walk. A trip to the dog park is no problem or if your pup prefers a peaceful time of playing fetch just the two of us it will be the best game of fetch they've ever played!
