Pet care experience
I took care of a very reactive, 100lb German Shepherd throughout her entire life (over 11 years!) and enjoyed every minute of it. I lost her recently, and I miss taking care of and being around animals. I haven’t met an animal who hasn’t liked me yet. I have experience taking care of all sizes and ages of dogs, and nothing makes me happier than seeing a happy animal. I’m available for various pet care services at most hours of the day. If you’re in need of a new pet sitter, let’s connect! As a dog mom, I understand that pets need care throughout the entire day! My shifts for work are around 8 hours long, so pet care will be provided morning, afternoon, and evening. Long term bookings are welcomed. I prefer to care for your pets in your home, as it is usually most comfortable for the pet. I’m very trustworthy and will provide all walks, feeding, play-time activities, and attention.

I cannot thank Kayla enough for putting our anxiety to rest and giving our dogs the best care while we were away! We never have never used Rover before and was a bit hesitant ... that was until we met Kayla! She was fabulous, completely calm with our little nipper Buddha, walked them, snuggled with them and put their anxiety level down as well :) She sent us pictures everyday with little updates and did not mind my constant texting. We came home to a clean house which was a bonus! We will definitely be using Kayla again. She was top notch ... and then on a personal note she was kind, patient and just a sweet person.

A typical day
I love walking in the beautiful parks that Portland has to offer! I do not have a car so the location would be depending on whatever is closest to your home. Forest park is my usual go-to when I’m able to get there. Evening walks would typically be around the neighborhood with some play time with toys afterward, along with dinner.

Availability
Currently I work 2-4 nights a week, mostly second/third shift hours. On days I work, I usually take pups out for a long morning walk, another walk before I leave, and a shorter potty walk when I return. My shifts are only 8-9 hours on my working days. Pets receive my full attention on my days off!
