Dogs are family. Plain and Simple.

Pet care experience

Edit: Starting January 1st of 2024, prices for drop-in visits and dog walking will be calculated based on how far I need to drive. Sadly, Rover takes quite a percentage from us sitters and the cost of gas has been really taking a toll on some of these farther drives. Anything within 8 miles will be the price shown. Anything farther than that will be an additional 50 cents per mile to make up for the time and gas. I'm not going to waste anyone's time with silly pictures and a buttered-up profile. This is all you need to know: I'm respectful, reliable, and I take the utmost pride in caring for and loving my fur-babies. I can assure you I will do the same for yours. I want your fur-baby to have fun with me, but my number one priority will always be the safety of all parties involved. I approach pet-sitting the same way I used to approach teaching martial arts. I want every student to have fun every time, but we can only have fun if everyone agrees to put safety first. I have had dogs in my home my entire life. My profile says I don't have dogs, but I do. It won't let me change it unless I had a ridiculous amount of info about my dogs, so just making a note here instead for you all. Currently, I have two beautiful dogs. I feed them the best food I can afford and they are up to date on everything. I also have experience with cats, small mammals, birds, reptiles/amphibians, and fish; so feel free to contact me about those if you have a need for it. Some house rules we have are NO people food under ANY circumstance, you only get fed at appropriate meal times, everyone MUST play nicely (I will not risk the safety of my pups), if you want a treat you have to earn it, and don't fart next to Mom. If we all follow the rules and we all agree to put safety first, then we can focus on what really matters....playtime and cuddles.

Kayla is a great person and pet sitter! She did a wonderful job feeding my outside cat while I was gone for Christmas. Very punctual, accurate and focused on the task. She’s very kind and willing to help however needed! I will definitely call on her again when needed! Thank you Kayla!

Kayla did a great job of communicating and responding quickly. I also really appreciated her efforts to ease my worries about leaving my 2 dachshunds. She made sure that my one dog gots his meds and let me know when my other dog had an upset stomach. I really appreciated knowing what was gong on and the pics. It’s comforting to know Kayla would like to dog-sit them again!

Information Kayla B. would like to know about your pet

Again, this is a dumb question for Rover to require me to answer. I would rather have these conversations with each client personally if there are any questions or concerns. Most of the information about what's important for me to know can be found in my section about dog requirements. For example, it says I do not accept unaltered dogs or dogs that are not crate-trained.

A typical day

Please feel free to ask me this yourself if you're curious. This is a dumb question for Rover to require me to answer. I'll partake in all the activities that are expected for a healthy and happy dog, such as walk time, play time, meal time, sleepy time, etc. Seriously, just ask me if you have any specific questions or concerns.
