I am a second year veterinary student that is committed to the care of your pet! I have 8 years of experience as a veterinary assistant and am comfortable taking care of all pets. I am also a Fear Free Certified professional. I can recognize animals fear, anxiety, and stress and read their body language to manage high-stress situations. I am able to medicate animals and follow special instructions regarding their care. I love to spend time getting to know your pets and interacting with them. I am well-suited to care for anyones pet!

I have had the same dog sitter for nearly every occasion over the past 7 years. Suffice to say I was *terrified* when I realized I would need to find someone new to watch my dog over the Christmas holiday this past year. Like most pet owners, my dog is my whole world and the thought of leaving her with a stranger genuinely made me feel sick. As *soon* as Ellie and I met Kayla, that fear was gone and I immediately knew they would be fast friends and I would be able to take a trip away from home. Ellie INSTANTLY velcro'd onto Kayla and just from our first meeting to introduce us all I had zero doubt that Kayla had mine and my pet's best interests in mind. I am *eternally* grateful for the service she provided me and there is zero question whether I would hire her again. 5 stars isn't enough, thank you SO much Kayla!!!

Kayla did an awesome job with my senior dog and cat! She was very attentive to my instructions and went above and beyond to provide quality care for them. My senior dog is impossible to get him to take his medications, but Kayla was able to take care of business! Very grateful for her background in veterinary medicine to help you feel at easy while your pets are in her care. I cannot recommend her enough for anyone looking for professional, affordable , and excellent care for any pet!

By providing services at your home, I can monitor your dog at all times and be there to play with them in their own home and walk them around their own neighborhood. This helps to ease the stress animals can have when they know their owners are away. Also, it allows them to be more comfortable and relaxed when being in their own home. All directions you give me on feeding and walking schedules, medications (if applicable), or other specific directions will be followed precisely.

Let me know if your dog has any specific or special behaviors. Some dogs are very anxious around strangers, can be dog or leash aggressive, food aggressive etc. These are important for me to know. I always prefer to meet you and your pet before any of my services for your pet to get familiar with me but any special behaviors are important for me to know beforehand.
A typical day
I like to play with your dogs with their favorite toys! Further, if your dog likes to play fetch or frisbee that is another fun activity I enjoy doing with them. I usually will walk dogs around the neighborhood or close by parks. By spending time with your pet at your home, this allows your pet to be more comfortable, have more exercise, and monitoring while you are away.
