My name is Kayla Asby. I am 30 years old and I have 10+ years of pet-sitting experience. I love all animals and I truly believe that pets are the definition of unconditional love. My apartment complex has plenty of room to walk and play in a safe, welcoming neighborhood. I am very flexible to a dogs comfortability. If your kiddo is anxious or needs calmness I can relax and cuddle, or sit in the room and keep them company; However, I love to hike, so if exercise is what your kiddo needs, they will get plenty of it. Whatever feels best to your fur baby. I have a fairly flexible schedule that allows me to offer House Sitting, Check in's, and Walks. I look forward to meeting you and your furry bundle of joy.

Kayla did a great job looking after our hound dog while we were on vacation. She used the Rover card and sent updates daily.
Another wonderful visit from Kayla! Our dogs love her and quickly became comfortable with her. They know they’re safe when she’s around!
Kayla gave our doggos exactly what the needed - someone to stay with them in their own space so they were comfortable and give them lots of attention and care. We’re so grateful for the updates and pictures and general communication she provided. Our dogs can be A LOT, but she handled them wonderfully.
Kayla was so pleasant to work with and treated our pup very well. She was able to give insulin injections for us while we were away and sometimes it’s hard to find someone with that skill. We will definitely use her services in the future.

If your fur baby needs to get out of the house, I know plenty of local safe areas for them to get some exercise, as well as, a trip to the dog park if your pet needs some socializing. My neighborhood is a calm, welcoming area with a spacious, fairly quiet dog park if it likes to have it's space. I consider the mental health of all animals of the upmost importance including coming to your pets home and allowing to be cared for and loved in their comfortable, established environment where they feel most at home. Whatever feels best for your fur baby, I will do my absolute best at accommodating.

It is important for me to know if your dog takes any medications/food and treats your dog may or need to consume. If your fur baby has a routine that they are used to, to keep them healthy, comfortable, and happy, it is important that I know that ahead of time as well. Lastly, It is equally important for me to know what type of personality your pet may have that way I can either keep them in an environment or create an environment that they will thrive in while under my care.
A typical day
Whether your pet is social or non-social, I will meet them where they are most comfortable. If they love exercise, I enjoy taking them along the newly expanded greenway that has access points in various parts of town that will be fairly close to whatever part of town they are used to. If they prefer to stay close to home and remain in a relaxing environment, I am flexible and here to make your fur baby the most comfortable and happy they can be.

I work a very consistent schedule which allows me a great deal of availability in the evenings as well as a full availability on the weekends.
