Pet care experience
I've worked with a professional pet sitter in my home town of sherrills ford, NC. I have grown up with dogs my entire life and taking care of animals in general is what helped me gain responsibility from a very young age. I have experience in walking, feeding, giving medicine (pills mostly). I am a habitual runner and I own two dogs myself of which I walk twice a day. I enjoy my time with animals in general and dogs hold a special place in my heart. I am flexible when needed as far as scheduling goes. I admire a dogs ability to sense feelings in humans and their ability to love humans unconditionally. I typically walk multiple dogs, separately for safety reasons and I have zero issue making multiple trips to walk each dog and give each dog equal attention that they require. My travel distance is typically 10 miles. Clients living over 10 miles away will have and additional $2 (per mile) added to the total for each visit.

I mostly do "drop-in" visits and I offer dog walking services and overnight stays. Because I have two dogs of my own, I do not bring clients pets to my own house. Drop-in visits entail bathroom time, feeding, playing, minimal grooming, anything else to help utilize the time scheduled.

It is always appreciated when a client informs me of certain discipline techniques, training techniques, dietary restrictions, etc. This helps me in helping the client keep their pets daily routine current and uninterrupted.
A typical day
Playing outside is the main activity for most of my clients. The purpose for having a mid day drop in is to help get some pent up energy out so that the dog (typically) is not as energetic after their human has been gone all day. It is also key to getting their exercise daily to promote a healthy lifestyle.

Availability
While I work full time, my job allows me to make my own schedule. I am able to take 1-3 jobs per day typically. I use these opportunities to step away from my desk and recharge.
