Pet cuddles and long walks are the best
Pet care experience
I have lived with dogs all my life - when I moved out of the family home. I then adopted 2 German Shepherds. I was lucky enough to have one for 12 years before she passed of old age and one for 6 years before we sadly lost him to cancer. I am use to administering medication to pets for both long and short term reasons. I would love to share my love for pets, with those who would like to share their pets whist on holiday or away for work. I believe that every pet is important and deserves the best possible care, no matter their size or age. I hope that I can become a regular carer for pets so they don't have ever changing carers and will become more settled in their home from home environment. I also offer home visits and dog walking for those long days out. I hope you will consider me and let me care for your pets. I love walking, and live less than 5 minutes walk to open fields. Plus only a 5 minutes drive to the beach. Both of which are regular activities for us as a family. Due to being a teacher's assistant in a SEN school, I am fully DBS checked. I work part-time five days a week (term time), I usually get home from work at around 13:15. When I love nothing more than pet cuddles on the sofa. I also appreciate the importance of confidentiality, due to my current and previous jobs. I am happy to consider staying at an owner's house to look after their pets, however please note this would also involve my husband and daughter - We would always leave the house as we found it. Please note: 1) I do request food is provided by owners to prevent any risk of allergies for the pets. 2) Bring anything that makes your pet feel at home, you can never bring enough. 3) I am happy to travel a 5 mile radius free of charge, however for journey's outside of this area - There is a charge of £10 for 30 minutes round trip, £20 for an hour round trip. Anything longer would be subject to discussion.
Reviews
Excellent as always! Consistent updates and photos to help us feel at ease when leaving Scooby while we are away
Kaye and her family where so welcoming and reassuring for not only dogs but us as well. The family welcomed my 11 month old golden retriever and 11 year old grandma mongrel into their home for two nights and managed to meet their needs perfectly. We got plenty of updates while they where in their care which reassured us that they had settled in well. Honestly such lovely people and a lovely safe home for our dogs. Would definitely use the service again.
Couldn’t have asked for anything better. Mr Moo, a rescue dog we got a couple of weeks before, settled in with a lovely family and was looked after as if he was one of their family. Regular updates and pictures kept us informed and I know who I will be going to next time we have a few days away. Thank you all very much. ?
As always Kaye and her family have provided a wonderful service. Riley enjoyed his stay again, and he is happy, content and so well looked after - he was so excited to be visiting again. Thank you for taking the best care of him. I’m forever grateful

We have a fenced garden and love nothing more than long walks. If your dog is use to a crate, you are welcome to bring it and I use it as you do. We always say you can never bring too much to make your dog feel at home with us.

Information Kaye T. would like to know about your pet
What they like, don't like and if they have a special diet or medication. If there is anything that scares them or any quirks they have that may be a worry, if we are unaware of it.
A typical day
A minimum walk on a morning before work about 6am of 30 minutes and again on a evening at about 6pm for a minimum of 30 minutes. Weekend times can vary but a minimum total walk time of an hour will be provided - However more often than not, the walks on a weekend will be any thing from an hour to as many as four hours depending on our walking plans. We do consider each dog on their own merits and would only walk a dog if we knew they could handle the walk planned. Otherwise we would adjust our plans accordingly. We love lots of playing and walks along open fields or beaches, followed by cuddles and lots of love.
