Pet care experience
I started dog- and cat- sitting for neighbors when I was 16 years old, doing drop-in visits, feedings, cleaning litter boxes, and dog walking when asked. I also foster cats when I can, and I volunteer at the local Humane Society (which has given me lots of experience walking strong dogs). Additionally, because of fostering and because my first family cat had a chronic illness, I have experience giving animals oral medications and taking care of healthy and sick pets. Ultimately, I just love spending time with animals and giving them the quality time they deserve :)

Kaycie did a great job coming by to feed my sweet Lexi cat who doesn’t take to strangers, several times over the weekend. Will definitely have her come back again.
Kaycie took care of George several times before we moved and he loved her. She did a great job, and from the pics I can tell they had so much fun together. I would definitely recommend Kaycie to anyone who wants great care for their pooch!
Kaycie was amazing! She communicated beautifully, sent plenty of pictures and updates, and went above and beyond for my kitty! He is usually kind of shy, but he was very affectionate and playful with her and I felt so much better knowing she was there taking care of him! 10/10 so appreciative of her!
Kaycie was great to work with and she was super flexible with our schedule and needs. She checked in promptly and sent great pictures and thorough info. She took great care of George and I’m planning to use her again.

I treat every animal like family. I recognize that some animals are weary of strangers, so I introduce myself slowing—I’ve found this especially useful with cats! However, I also love to get animals’ energy out. I love running and playing with dogs in the backyard and trying different toys/ interactions with cats to see what they prefer :) I’m all about making the animal feel comfortable!

Please let me know ahead if your animal will need any extra care/ considerations like medications, an upset stomach, being a slow walker, etc. so I can be as best prepared as possible to make their day!
A typical day
On walks, I like to gauge and respond to the dog’s preferences. If they like to sniff, I’ll let them sniff! And if they want to keep moving, we’ll keep it moving—even jog if they want to! If there’s a dog park nearby I’d be happy to take them, or I also enjoy playing with dogs in the backyard and getting them excited with toys or running around alongside them.
