It's always tough finding someone you trust your fur-baby with. For me a true sign that your 4-legged love is in good hands is not on the first visit, but on the second - does your dog get excited to see that person or go back to that spot? Kaycee was the 3rd dog-sitter I met. The ones before didn't pass the test. And I know everyone's relationship with their pet is different, but I trust my dog's vibes. I met Kaycee when my puppy was just 3 months old and now she's almost 4 years old. My job required I travel regularly, so I needed a solution for when I was gone - sometimes just 1-hour walks and other times overnight stays. And I've always been opposed to boarding her. So I was looking for someone I not only trusted with my dog, but also with access to my home. Kaycee would leave me a journal of her adventures and it was always reassuring to know my dog was having fun while I was away. My puppy also stayed with Kaycee at her home and loved that too! Btw, I have an 80lb doberman that loves to swim, chase squirrels, and steal your spot on the couch, so she can snuggle closer - her name is Lola. And she's always excited to see Kaycee!
