Pet care experience
I have been taking care of/walking/sitting dogs for about 10 years. I am most familiar with small and medium size dogs and I have some experience working with larger and/or older dogs. I have been told that I bring a calming and fun presence and most animals respond positively to this. I love being around animals because they are therapeutic and a lot of fun. I also find that they help me stay active and so I feel that this work is mutually beneficial. Depending on if your dog is comfortable riding in a car, I would love to take them to their favorite park or your preferred trails to get a new perspective and exciting possibly even a new place for your pet to experience. I look forward to hearing from you and hanging out with your dog/cat.

Kay has been great! My dog has anxiety when he is not with us and can be challenging to walk when he isn’t with us. Kay has been helpful patient and understanding with our dog. She communicates with me often which has been so helpful. I would definitely recommend her!

If there is yard space at the clients home, I would spend a lot of time playing and observing or if the dog wants to go inside and get lots of pets I can most definitely do that too.

I ask that if the service is a walk, the dog is trained on leash/off leash and is relatively well behaved. If there are other special needs for your dog we can discuss this during booking.
A typical day
I like to ask what my client normally does or where they like to go, and if possible I will smoothly integrate their routines. I like to go on hikes and take them to their favorite places (parks, trails etc).
