I grew up in rural Australia on 40 acres. On a daily basis I tended to our family’s horses, cattle, poultry and cats and dogs - rain, hail or shine. Since moving to Burlingame, my family has grown to include a Labradoodle (Milo), a Devon Rex cat (Debbie), hamster and tropical fish. I’m at my best when I’m with pets of all shapes and sizes! My personal mission is to contribute more to this world than I take from it. That means I want to do the very best for you and your furry family member. What makes me qualified to look after your dog/cat?... - Experienced dog walker and pet carer - Verified Volunteers background checked - Experience with aging animals - Experience administering medicine (oral & intramuscular injection) - Sirius Dog Training courses completed (reward-based) Walking service: If you select me to walk your dog, he/she will be walked for 30-60 minutes (depending on requirements and your budget). I don’t charge for pick up or drop off time. If you would like me to incorporate some playtime with your fur baby I can do that too. Some of my own pooch's favorite games include rope toss and hide & seek. Should your dog just like a slow ‘sniff walk’ we can do this together: he/she will enjoy the stimulation of new smells at a leisurely pace. Alternately, we can move at a good pace or even an on/off jog. If they has a favorite spot for an on or off-leash trek I am happy to pick up and drop off and facilitate this outing. And if there is some particular training you would like worked on, we’ll make some time for that at the end of the walk. Drop in visits: If you have a cat who needs care and affection while you're away, I’m here to help. I can also take care of your smaller pets, bring in mail, water plants and blinds opened/closed while you're gone. My rates are negotiable based on requirements and location. I’d love to meet you and your pet to discuss and meet your needs. Unfortunately I am not currently able to care for animals at my home or house-sit overnight.
