I do my best to make myself available whenever needed. I am reliable, trustworthy, and honest. I have been on Rover for roughly 3 years and have been working with animals closely for 10. I have been a full-time pet-sitter for 2 years, starting my own business, Snoots and Sploots Pet Care LLC, in June of 2022. I grew up with three dogs and have cared for family and friends' dogs, cats, small animals, and exotics while they were out of town. I have cared for a wide range of personalities and ages. I have also previously volunteered for five years with the Tri-County Humane Society. I obtained my bachelor's degree in Anthrozoology, the study of human and animal interaction, in 2020. I did hands-on training in basic obedience and working dog tasks. I also learned to read animal behavior and promote animal welfare. I worked at a barn as a farm hand, working closely with horses. I then worked as a veterinary assistant at a local pet hospital and boarding facility, working with exotic and common household pets, administering medication, helping with basic exams, and caring for a variety of animals and personalities. I always want to advanced my knowledge and skills, and take new online courses to do so. I have a certificate in Pet First Aid and CPR, and Low Stress Handling.
