I love dogs, and am committed to ensuring they’re safe, happy and well cared-for. Along with owning my own dog, I volunteer with a local animal rescue and provide care for friends' pets. I also have experience caring for puppies. I will provide your dog with love and attention, exercise, food and water, and anything else he or she needs so you can have peace of mind when you're away from home. EXPERIENCE: My husband and I rescued our dog Rocky almost nine years ago. She's a 13-year-old teacup Chihuahua whose sweet, funny and sometimes sassy personality has made her the perfect addition to our family. I’m a volunteer with Underdog Pet Rescue, a foster-based animal rescue organization located in Madison. I’ve represented Underdog at outreach events, such as Pints for Pups and Yappy Hour. I’ve also helped transport puppies to local businesses for Underdog’s corporate puppy party outreach events. With other Underdog volunteers, I provided care for multiple dogs at Brat Fest’s doggy daycare in 2017. This past fall, I helped raise a litter of seven Golden-Doodle puppies from the time they were two weeks old until they were eight weeks old. I did in-home check-ins on the puppies and their mother. My duties included feeding them, changing out their bedding, cleaning up any accidents, and providing exercise and socialization.
