Hello Everyone!!! My dog is close to being 12 years old. She is a beautiful black lab & has such a fun personality. Super enjoyable creature. She loves baths but really loves the towels to dry off. I have watched a German Shepherd from a neighbor that had been abandoned. The GS went from being afraid of being with me to loving me because he gained my trust. It was a beautiful thing to watch. One of family members went on a hike and there was an abandoned dog. A pit bull! I thought pit bulls were dangerous but they actually are amazingly loving dogs. They need the love and they will love you back. They definitely are very active and have tons of energy. Hikes is what they tend to need or hours in a dog park. My extended family members took in a stray dog who would run away all of the time but thankfully over the year he finally calmed down and trusted my family so much that running away became not an option. They can take him off leash and let him run and call him right back. Boy what a blessing to see a dog who would almost get in car crashes from running away to be good old boy who loves his family. For a short time, we took in a kitten. She was such a adorable thing except kittens love to hide and get into places you don’t want them to. I have cleaned out kitty litters and taken care cats for neighbors and family. Cats biggest temptation is to scratch chairs or any type of material that they want to claw their nails to. Cats are remarkable creatures because of their innate ability to see in the dark and be so focused on what is moving. I have watched cats that love the outdoors and cats who hate the outdoors. I love this when cats just purr on me. It shows that they feel safe and are comfortable with me.
