Hi, I'm Katy! I live in the southside with my husband Michael and our best pal Maisie, a 3-year-old cocker spaniel. Maisie is one of the friendliest dogs you will ever meet, and she absolutely adores meeting other dogs (and people!), which is the main reason we like to look after other dogs - so she can make new friends. Maisie loves going on walks and playing, but is equally happy snoozing by our feet while we work. I have lots of experience with dogs having grown up since the age of 11 with my family dog Ellie, who sadly is no longer with us, and also through dog-sitting for friends and family. We live in a spacious flat with plenty of room for your dog to find a comfy spot. Maisie often wanders around between her favourite spots in different rooms, and we are happy for your dog to do the same if they prefer some alone time. We would love to hear from you :) Both myself and my partner work from home full time so your dog won't be left alone, and we have time throughout the day to play with them. We are a stone's throw away from Queen's Park, where we take Maisie out for a walk twice a day - typically once in the morning or at lunch, then again when we finish work in the afternoon. On weekends, we are all very active and like to go for longer walks at local country parks with some relaxing time at home in equal measure. We live in a 1st floor flat with enclosed garden. We will follow any guidance you give us for walking your dog - whether you prefer on/off lead at the park etc - so please let us know what your preferences are.
