Pet care experience
I’ve owned dogs all of my life and have been caring for others dogs since I was about 11. I’m very much looking forward to starting back up and spending time with surrogate fur babies since mine live back home in SWVA. I recently left a job in retail and will have some extra free time next semester as I only attend classes in the morning and early afternoon. I live alone in a one bedroom with my partner, and the apartment is a part of a row house in the Fan that is dog friendly. There are several small parks within blocks of my house and I am more than willing to visit the dog park with your animal if that is something they’d enjoy. I very much look forward to giving lots of puppy love.

Katy has been a caregiver for our dog in the past. We were very happy with the care received. The love and attention she shows animals in her care make the separation so much easier. Our dog showed some separation anxiety initially and Kate communicated with us to best alleviate these symptoms. Paying attention to the details of your pets daily life is very important to Katy. Katy loves animals and will do the best she can to care for your babies.
Katy is super sweet and loving towards animals. She came to my house to take care of my cats everyday while I was on vacation. She is very reliable and has an easy schedule to work with.

Being aware of eating or medicine schedules along with any special needs they might have is my top priority. Knowing their preferences for people/other dogs, their barking frequency and when I need to be alarmed, and if they like to cuddle is pretty much all I need to know.
