I am exceptionally compassionate and responsible, and I have taken care of dogs of all ages. Your dog will be family at our house! My priority is for your dog to be happy and thriving--with attention, stimulation, exercise, and love in addition to care and safety. I understand individual dogs have individual needs, so I'll give great care to your dog's regular routines, medications, diet, and personality. And I'm also an enthusiastic photographer--some of your favorite snapshots of your pet might come from our stay together!

From the moment that we met Katy, we felt extremely comfortable with her taking care of our dog. She is very detailed and responsive. We knew we could count on her and trust her to take good care of our dog. She stayed in touch with us throughout the day with photos and updates. We will definitely be leaving our dog with her again!

If your pet stays with me, my home is their home while they're here. They are welcome on the sofa or bed, but I can work with whatever your rules/habits are at home. I live in a townhome with a private fenced courtyard with faux turf, and there is tons of green space (and lots of other pups) all around our complex as well.

Let me know if your pet has any special needs (diet, allergies, medications) that I need to accommodate, and if there are any reactive or destructive behaviors I need to be aware of. It's also helpful to know a little about their personality--what are their likes, dislikes, energy level? And most importantly, if your dog is an escape artist, please let me know! I have plenty of experience with sneaky guys, but it's helpful to know to watch out for it.
A typical day
I want to make sure your dog is happy and stimulated. I'm happy to play (tug, fetch), give treats or kongs, administer games, lounge on the couch or outside, and of course lots of walks around my complex and neighborhood. I can allow your dog to socialize with other pups, or not, according to their needs.
