Pet care experience
I’m an outgoing, fun-loving individual who LOVES dogs. I grew up with a family dog who sadly passed away in 2017 and was administering medications and accommodating her “senior moments” until the very end. After making the move to San Diego I lived with and frequently looked after a senior, miniature dachshund and redbone coonhound duo named Belle and Willie. I am often hired by friends and family to look after and do in-home stays for their furry friends and am looking to expand my clientele! I’m big on taking walks and getting fresh air with your dog! During the hot summer months, I usually aim to walk early in the morning and around 6:30 in the evening with lots of stimulation and attention given during the day when in the house. I would love to meet with you and your pup to see how I might be able to assist your needs.

Katy was awesome! She was super prompt and answered any questions I had while I was away! Champ loved her from the start... she also came for a meet and greet before I left which was so sweet and put my mind at ease! Especially loved the fact that she took time to play with champ as well! Katy looked after our puppy for 3 nights and was amazing! We never had to worry at all. He is a very high energy guy and she was great with taking him on walks and playing with him. We would definitely recommend Katy to anyone!
Katy is a fantastic person and dog sitter! She is reliable and responsible with a lot of love to give. I’ve witnessed Katy skillfully care for a range of pups, including elderly dogs and dogs with severe anxiety. She does a great job of making the animals as comfortable as possible. She is consistently very accommodating and attentive to different animals’ unique needs. I would definitely request Katy for dog sitting if I had a pup of my own!

I LOVE daschunds and Australian Shepherds but I don’t discriminate! I enjoy being with and caring for all breeds. Prior to caring for your dog, I would like to know if there are any medical conditions I need to be aware of or medications I would need to administer. Please let me know if I need to be aware of anything in a particular when walking your dog (doesn’t like other pups, does not like to be pet by strangers etc.) I want to make sure your dog has the best experience while under my care!
A typical day
I live a block away from mission bay so I can walk your pup along the bay after 6pm. I’m a runner! If your dog is high-energy we can go for long (or short) runs around the neighborhood. I live in a dog-friendly apartment complex that has a courtyard where all of the complex pups are often playing fetch and socializing with one another. When I dog sit for dogs I am familiar with, I will take them to the OB dog beach, Kate Sessions Park or to my family’s house in North Park where they can run around the yard!
