Goal. I am at home full time, and it is my goal to provide the most excellent care for your dog while you're away. This will mean your pup will have full days filled with care, play, and love. Your pup will get to go on leashed walks around our property, get to play with other pups (under direct supervision always) and will receive simple command trainings . Mental stimulation is important for dogs, and my goal is to make sure all the dogs in this household are well nurtured, which means physical and mental stimulation and lots of love and snuggles! Property. I live on a picturesque 5 acre piece of property that is perfect for dogs to romp on. Have you ever seen dogs full on sprint around in circles when they first realize they are leash free in a gigantic space?! It is a sight to behold! Administration of Medication. I have experience with administering medication in pill form as well as injections. Meet & Greet. Before I accept any boarding or daycare client, I will do a meet and greet with you and your pup to make sure I understand your pup’s needs, play style, and personality. I will be able to meet you anywhere (Austin, Cedar park, Georgetown, Leander, Liberty Hill, Round Rock), but I do encourage you to come to the property to take a look at where your pet will be staying. Stay. I have 3 dogs at home who are well socialized, so when your dog stays with me, he/she will have playmates at the ready! Most of your pup's day will be spent either outside or in my home. I have a dedicated space in the home for the pups where the dogs are allowed on the couch (puppy cuddle puddle :D), and there are plenty of cozy crates; we call it our "great dog room." My husband and I spend our nights in the great dog room watching movies, listening to music, playing games, etc. so your pup will always be around us! I will crate the pups anytime I need to be away from the home to make sure your pup is safe. It is my opinion that safety is the number one goal in dog care services; when dogs are not under direct supervision, it always better minimize every single risk of any fights breaking out. Experience. I am certified by the International Boarding and Pet Services Association as a canine care provider. Additionally, I also have a certification in Low Stress Handling, which includes education in reading dog signals and learning how to handle dogs to keep them stress free. I have had dogs and taken care of dogs for almost my entire life. The very first dog I took care of was when my family welcomed a rescue into our home when I was under 10 years old, and I have never gone dog-less since. I will be the primary caretaker, but your pup will also receive love and affection from my husband as well when he is home at night and on the weekends! My husband has also raised dogs his entire life as well and have frequently offered to watch his friends' dogs throughout college. He also has experience with taking care of farm animals such as goats and cows; so he is just really great with animals! We love pups and would welcome your puppies into our family while you’re away! Pick Up and Drop Off Service. I offer pick up and drop off services for boarding guests so you don't have to worry about coming out before your trip. I offer pick up/drop off services for Austin, Cedar Park, Georgetown, Liberty Hill, Round Rock, and Leander locations.
