Resourceful & Experienced Vet Tech

Pet care experience

I’ve spent my entire life around animals (small and large). As a child, I quickly developed an unconditional love for animals. I began my career in veterinary medicine in 2010. I attended Wilson College which lead to a degree as a Certified Veterinary Technician. Today, I work at a 24-hr animal trauma center. This can help to ensure that if there is ever an accident or acute illness, your pet will ALWAYS have access to immediate care. There is confidence in care of your young, adult, or elderly pets. Medication regimens will never become neglected under my care. Currently in my home, I have one large dog and several cats. I have an unfenced yard, but there is one acre for activities. There is also a local dog park within 15 minutes from my home. Your pets are always welcome in my home, or if you feel more comfortable, they can remain in their comfort space and I will travel to them.

Katie and Alfred bonded right away…I think we did too! She was very professional and very knowledgeable about his breed. (And others) She went above and beyond dog/house sitting. We highly recommend her and we definitely will hire her again. Alfred loves her!

Katy was wonderful with our dogs! Very communicative, lots of pictures, and I came home to happy pups and a clean home, so thankful for her care!!!

Katie was awesome with Winston and Willow. She took them for walks and even gave Willow meds at each meal. She communicated with us regularly and sent us pictures. The house looked great when we got home. We felt very confident that our dogs were well taken care of while we were gone, and that peace of mind was very comforting.

Katy was wonderful with taking care of our older diabetic cat's twice daily insulin injections, along with his other nasal medication. She was very responsive and notified me of any schedule changes. I will definitely keep Katy's contact information close by and do recommend her services.

Frequent bathroom breaks and play time is very important. I speak with every client to understand and cater to the needs and routine of their pets. Sticking to a routine is very important. This helps to ease anxiety their critters may have when their owners are away.

Playing fetch is one of my favorite things to do with an animals, although if your pet is more of a snoozer, then Netflix and naps is 100% okay. There are a few parks I typically use for dog walking if there is nothing nearby a client’s home, but all information is communicated while speaking with a client and their pet’s needs
