Hello! I'm Katy, and I spent the last seven of the last eight years working in Student Activities and Orientation at universities. In January 2019, I left to pursue my dream of doing photography, videography and merchandise management for touring bands. Rover has been my supplemental income when I'm home from tour, and given the event industry doesn't really exist right now, I'm back to pet sitting/walking! I have a bachelor's degree in Graphic Design and Photography, and a master's degree in Higher Education Administration. As far back as I can recall, my family has always had a canine friend. We had three dogs - Bear (a chow), Dotty (a dachshund), and Scooby (a cockapoo). We adopted Scoobs when he was only a few weeks old and I was a Junior in high school. I quickly became his human, and I remember the first week or so I didn't want him to be alone (and he couldn't get up our big stairs) so I slept on the couch with him. He's an old man now, and still gets very excited whenever I'm home to visit. I'm currently am very happily the human-parent of two tuxedo kitties named Football and Nibbler, named after Adventure Time and Futurama characters respectively. Through my experience working at a university, I've also become incredibly detail oriented, great at multi-tasking, able to work with many different personalities, and I'm very used to following outlined rules and regulations while planning far in advance for the best final outcome.
