Hi, my name is Katy and I love dogs and cats! Growing up, I had two family dogs, both of which we rescued from a dog shelter. My earliest memories include playing with my dogs and walking my dogs with my family. As I got older, I was responsible for walking my dog, taking him to the vet and giving him his medicine. I also have been dog sitting throughout high school and college. I have taken care of both small and large dogs, and dogs that have special dietary needs. I have two cats, so I also am an experienced cat lady. My cats can stay by themselves for a few days with limited check ins, so I am available to stay with pets who need more attention. I’m a public interest attorney, so I am usually home by 5:30 pm on weekdays and all day on the weekends. I have some flexibility to work from home or flex my hours, if needed! Dogs are not permitted in my apartment and my two cats are happier by themselves. I am able to leave my cats for extended periods to stay with your pet. I am very careful with taking dogs in public. I will not have dogs off-leash, unless in a fenced in area. I also avoid the dog park with dogs I don’t know well. I’m happy to discuss and follow any other conditions/concerns of pet parents!
