I am 24 years old and have had dogs (and other various livestock; horses, goats, cattle, sheep and barn cats) around my whole life. I grew up with a beautiful, wonderful Airedale Terrier named Scarlet. Since Scarlet, we have had several working dogs (cattle dogs and livestock guardian dogs). 2 years ago I officially became a "dog mom" to Holly, a terrier mix. She's 9 pounds of sassy and sweet and has been such a blessing to me! My first two years of college, I worked at a veterinary hospital as a veterinary assistant. In my time there, I took care of many boarding dogs and cats, as well as pets in recovery. This work allowed me to meet dogs of all shapes and sizes and love them even more! While I worked at the vet hospital, I gained experience giving oral medication (and injecting insulin) and spotting signs of illness. My last two years of college, I house sat, dog sat and horse sat and loved it! I can't wait to love and spoil your fur babies like they are my own!!
