Pet care experience
Hi, we are Katrina and Ryan! Katrina is a Registered Nurse, and Ryan is an engineer who works fully from home, and we both love dogs. We have one dog and his name is Rocky! Rocky is a rescue from SCARS, we've had him for 4 years. He is very friendly, gentle, well trained, and loves other dogs of all sizes, even the teeny ones. Rocky is a volunteer therapy dog, and he and Katrina visit patients at a local hospital. Rocky loves to swim and cool off in the kiddie pool in our yard on hot summer days. We have been dogsitting for 6 of our friends dogs over the years, and are registering for this site to open our home and hearts to more dogs! They have been a variety of breeds from doodles to rottweiler, and ages from puppy to 13 year old with health issues. We like to send lots of photo updates (depending on how many you'd like to receive!).

Wonderful dogsitters. Loads of loving pictures, 'pupdates' to keep us up to date and smiling at Murphy's stay. We felt very comfortable leaving our pup for the first time and if he could speak I'd say he enjoyed his stay with Rocky, Katrina and Ryan. They were all so chill.
Katrina and Ryan were phenomenal with our dog Jasper. They provided frequent updates of their adventures, and made every moment enjoyable and fun for him. Communication was efficient and effective. They went above and beyond to ensure a safe and fun experience for our dog. We were comfortable and confident leaving Jasper with Katrina and Ryan and we will definitely be booking with them again. Thank you for taking such great care of our boy!!
Our Rottweiler stayed with Katrina and Ryan for over a week and they were absolutely fantastic doggy hosts! They are so kind and great with dogs. I could tell our dog felt so at home with them. Loved the multiple photo updates daily and all the nice walks they took our dog on :) 100% recommend them as sitters!
Amazing updates and dog had a great time was well taken care of.

We have a large, fully fenced in backyard, and are a few blocks away from the beautiful river valley walking trails. My husband works from home full time so the dogs are rarely home alone. The dogs are welcome to make themselves comfortable on the couches. We know how hard it is to leave your dog when going on vacation, and we will be sure to give them lots of love and care for them as we would want ours to be when we are away!

We love to know your dogs routine, so we can make them as comfortable as possible. Including what time they eat, where they sleep, their favorite games, how long they like to walk for, the words/signals you use with them so we can be consistent. We'd also like to know how much contact/updates you'd like to have while you are away, so we can send cute photos and updates so you know your dog is doing well, but we don't want to spam you with more photos than you want to receive!
A typical day
We start our days with coffee cuddles on the couch. We have a dog Rocky to keep your dog company, and my husband works from home so can let them out into the fully fenced yard anytime. In the evening we go for walks, location varies based on the dog we have with us. Our dog enjoys the off leash trails, but depending on the dog staying with us we often go to on leash river valley trails, or neighborhood walks to check out new smells, or for dogs we have cared for regularly and they know us well with good recall they join us off leash as well (depending on their parents preferences too!)

Availability
My husband works from home so he can let them out into the fenced yard anytime. We walk daily in the evenings, and the frequency/length are flexible based on the energy needs of the dogs staying. Depending on the energy levels and exercise needs of the dogs we have taken care of, we can walk them together or separately from ours.
