Pet care experience
We first had cats and then got our fist dog when I was 10. I would care for the cats and the dog and as I got older we would care for our neighbors dogs and cats when they would go out of town. When I started driving in high school friends of my mother would reach out and I would feed their animals and get their mail when they would go out of town. I continued to house/pet sit through college and after. Since going to a work from home schedule it has given me more freedom and flexibility to pet sit during the day/overnight. Before moving back to Oklahoma I had several people I would regularly pet sit for and they appreciated having someone consistent watching their pets.

Katrina is wonderful. She loves our ‘kids’ and goes the extra mile, bringing in mail and the garbage/recycling bins. I’ll use her every time as long as she’s available!

When caring for pets in a client's home I prefer instructions be left in regards to the animals feeding schedules, treats, medications if applicable, and vet care. Especially with the first several times I care for a pet. I also appreciate being able to meet a pet before hand with the owner if possible so they are not scared when I show up and the owner is not present. Any detail abut the animals favorite toys are places to sit or sleep. Even bedtime routines are important for me to know, to help reduce your pet's stress while you are away. Also if you have an alarm I will turn it on an off any time I am entering or leaving your home. I try to be free of the home before you arrive back unless you prefer I be there when you arrive home. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to ask.

If there is a special routine at bedtime or at meals please let me know. Also if your dog prefers to eat at a certain time or go for a walk by a certain. Or if your dog is used to being in bed by a certain time please provide those details so that I can stay as close to their normal schedule as possible.
A typical day
I enjoy playing fetch or tug o war with dogs. I also enjoy walking and hiking so if that is an option with your do I will be happy to do that with them. If your dog enjoys a car ride I will be happy to take them for a drive around town.

Availability
I work from home so I have the freedom to work from anywhere. I just need a good wifi connection or I utilize my work hotspot. I can work from a home for the full day or part of the day if a pet is not used to being alone for long stretches. I'm able to spend the night but would need to be able to leave an check on my own animals at least once or twice a day. I'm also able to do casual swing by and feedings where I hang out for just a few hours with the animals if an overnight stay is not required.
