Pet care experience
I have been taking care of dogs, cats, and a variety of other animals since I was a young teenager. My family and I have also been fostering dogs for the past five years. I have one animal rescue that I am loyal to, but have helped out several other rescues/shelters when there was an urgent need. We are currently taking a little break from fostering dogs in our home. With five dogs and various reptiles of my own, I bring a lot of hands-on experience to the table. I'm well-versed in handling a variety of breeds, temperaments, and special needs. From feeding schedules to playtime preferences, I'll tailor my services to meet the specific needs of your pets. While I have a great memory, I am still meticulous about creating and following checklists to make sure ever aspect of your pet's care is covered. I understand the importance of reliability when it comes to caring for your pets, and I take my responsibilities seriously. I will prioritize the well-being and safety of your pets at all times. Katrina is very passionate about dogs. I have known Katrina over 10 years. When it came time to board our dogs,I knew Katrina would be the best person for the job. Katrina is very caring. I am like most people our fur babies are our children so you want them in the best hands. Katrina would send us pictures everyday so we could see how much fun our dogs were having. If given a choice I wouldn't use anyone else.
Our dog loves Katrina and we do too! She is responsible and knowledgeable and takes great care of our dog when we need her. We have used her many times and our dog is always excited to see her. We can highly recommend Katrina!

At my house, my backyard is fenced in and we have an in-ground pool. That means that I treat dogs like toddlers and never leave them alone outside (not even for a minute). We have a large room that we call ‘The Dog Room’. The dog room has a dog shower, full size bed, a couch, and various dog beds and kennels. This also provides a separate eating area. If you crate your dog, then I can crate them also. If you don’t crate, then I won’t. I have 5 dogs; some are very friendly and some are anxious to meet new friends. I am an expert at keeping dogs separated (if needed) and making sure everybody gets plenty of attention. At your residence, I will implement the house rules and safety measures you want to follow.

I teach preschool part time, so typically 10 to 15 hours a week max. I am good with time management so I will never take on more than I can handle.
