Pet care experience
Hi! I work from home (except wednesdays) for a non-profit full time. I love being around animals they brighten my day! I was working with pets almost full time to support my dance career a few years back and I definitely feel like something is missing without pets in my life now so I am hoping to hop back into pet care again. What sets me apart from other sitters is that I have professional and personal experience with dogs. I had 2 toy poodles that I have loved and cared for growing up. Sadly they live at home in Hong Kong so I need all the doggie snuggles I can get! I also worked at a dog day care center so I have a lot of experience working with animals. Specifically they have trained me in dog walking, dog aggression signs, discipline, bathing and feeding. With regards to cat care, I have been fostering for NYACC for the past 2 years and have experience with adult and elderly cats, as well as kittens. I also have experience giving IVs and medication. We are new to Rover and had a bit of anxiety but Katrina really made us feel great about leaving our geriatric cat under her care. She's very communicative and honest, and conscientious. Our cat didn't even notice we were away. Katrina learned how to do liquid treatment and give pills to our cat and quickly learned the not-so-obvious skills very efficiently! Not only that, somehow she managed to make him gain some weight, which is fantastic! She also left our apartment impeccable after 10 days of staying over. We would definitely have her again if we can! Thank you!

I have a full time job and I work from home all days except for Wednesdays. I usually leave the house at night for class for a few hours but my schedule is flexible and we can talk about what works best for your pets.
