Katrina is an extremely positive and empathetic caregiver to dogs. She cares deeply about their well being and is extremely attentive to their needs and habits. When training a dog, she uses positive reinforcement and consistency so that the dog knows exactly what is expected of them. She focuses on providing positive alternatives for common negative behaviors to provide an outlet for anxious behavior. When caring for a dog, she provides plenty of love and attention. I have seen her rehabilitate and trained multiple dogs to prepare them for a home environment. These dogs were coming straight from adoption and were very anxious and confused. However, her care helps them become calm Furthermore, having a medical and public health background and a love for dogs, she is extremely knowledgable about all the foods and substances that can cause harm to dogs, as well as being very practiced at administering any medications the dog has. I have not met a better caregiver for a dog, or any other pet, than Katrina.
