Hello! My name is Katrina and I live in a pet-friendly (all love and hardwood floors!) apartment in a small residential neighborhood a few blocks from parks and green spaces in Laurel Heights. Because I do not have my own backyard, it is best suited for small indoor dogs, but I am happy to keep up their daily exercise with walks and play time! My only roommate is my small, senior dog who gets along with other small dogs and cats (she's a rescue and was fostered with numerous dogs and kittens). About this sitter: I am a working professional with a flexible schedule who also enjoys taking care of pets of all shapes and sizes. Currently, I have a small rescue chihuahua named Ladybug, and have owned dogs of all shapes, sizes, and personalities (a Golden, Vizsla, and orange tabby cat who thinks he's a dog). My pet-sitting experience is also varied, I've taken care of many different types of dogs (small and large, young and old, outgoing and shy), cats, rabbits, and even a very friendly snake. I'm an animal lover through and through! Why I love dog sitting My parents got a puppy before they had me, so I quite literally grew up with dogs my whole life. I've never not had a pet, and as a working professional, I've still found time to volunteer every weekend at the SPCA, as well as dog sit for my friends and co-workers whenever they need. About my yard N/A My experience administering medication I am comfortable administering oral or topical medication, and shots for certain animals (my dog has daily medications, and I've helped administer medications on occasion when volunteering at the SPCA).
