Pet care experience
Hi! My name is Katrin (Kat) and I love animals. I have had a dog ever since I was a baby. I have experience with big and small dogs. I also have experience with cats, and hamsters. I am available weekdays and weekends! My special skills include brushing animals that shed excessively (I had a samoyed for 12 years). Also, taking care of elderly dogs that require constant care, meds, special diet needs, and need a pet stroller to go on walks. Another special skill I possess is a basic knowledge of dog training and can help teach your dog sit, stay, come, and down. One thing I am very passionate about concerning taking care of dogs is taking them on a thirty minute walk twice a day, or more depending on the exercise need of the dog. Thanks for considering me!

Leaving our pets with a sitter was a first for us. Katrin spent two nights with them and it seems that everything went very well. She took the time for a get-acquainted visit ahead of time. She had to put up with the coldest and snowiest days of winter. We feel that she is a reliable young woman and hope that she can take care of our fur babies in the future.
Katrin was great with our energetic pup! She came early when we needed her to and worked around our schedule so well. She sent pictures and updates so we always knew how our pup was! Would definitely recommend her.

I would love to know the dogs name, breed, age, behavorial concerns, exercise needs, and any medical concerns or if medication is needed. I am comfortable with any breed and age. The breeds of dogs I have personally owned are a Lab, a Golden Retriever/Samoyed mix, two Minuature Dachshunds, and a Beagle/ Rat terrier mix.
A typical day
I like to walk dogs around the neighborhood, in parks or trails nearby, and I could take them to a dog park if requested. Also, if you have a small dog that can no longer walk anymore, I have a dog stroller that I can bring over. I can play fun games with your dog like fetch and tug of war. I can train your dogs little things like sit, stay, down, and come. I enjoy brushing dogs and I love to give lots of attention and belly rubs.
