I've personally owned a golden retriever, and 3 Australian Shepherds (at different times) and enjoy working with highly intelligent and high energy dogs. I use basic, positive training methods during play time and like to interact with the dogs both physically (running, playing frisbee or fetch) and mentally (basic commands and obedience). I've trained my Aussie for obedience, agility, rally, and frisbee freestyle. After graduating University in 2008, I spent the next 8 years working in the Equine Industry and moved to West Palm Beach in 2010 to train. Since the barn is usually a dog friendly place, I got to enjoy the company of other peoples dogs until my husband and I got our pup in 2014. Since then, he has gone everywhere with us and gets along with all small dogs, but is very shy and gets nervous around big dogs.
