- presence of aggression - reactivity - any possibly dangerous habits - any training requested - any budget constrictions or payment negotiations (Details on each below) I will not walk aggressive dogs! There have been way too many times this has caused unnecessary danger to all parties. If your dog is truly aggressive, a specialized trainer is a better option than asking a Rover sitter to attempt to handle it for you, no matter how experienced they may be. (Please help me keep myself and other sitters safe!) However, if your dog is reactive but not dangerously so, I can work with you on fixing that behavior. Sometimes it simply takes teaching the dog to pay attention to the owner on walks. Sometimes it may help to teach the dog to sit next to you as the other dog passes. If it is a bigger problem than I can fix, I will let you know exactly what happened and recommend next steps based on the specific issue. (This usually means finding a trainer specializing in the problem, as they often have the right resources to make real progress with your pet). Any possibly dangerous habits to me or the animal (trying to escape the house, non-aggressive mouthing, food issues, etc) must be transparently explained. Most can be handled just fine, but please remember that I don’t know your pets like you do! (I’d like to know this information before I end up in a bad situation, for both your pet’s safety and my own). If you’d like any basic training, including puppy training (house training, learning how to go up/down stairs, basic commands, crate training, etc.), let me know. I will be happy to help! Possible training services I provide include: - leash/harness pulling on walks - jumping up on visitors - crate training - house/potty training - basic commands (i.e. sit, lay down, stay) - sitting still for putting harness/collar/leash on - walking next to you (commonly called “heel”) - reactivity to doorbells/knocking - attempting to escape (usually out the front door) - waiting for a food bowl to be set down before eating (This is not an exhaustive list. Ask if you need something else!) FINAL NOTE: Aggression towards me, other people, or other animals will NOT be tolerated. !!!! If you do not tell me about aggressive behavior, and something happens, your booking will be immediately cancelled and NOT refunded !!!! PLEASE help keep me, yourself, your animals, and other sitters and pet owners SAFE! Professional trainers know how to handle aggressive animals and can do so in a controlled environment. This is a much safer (and more effective) option. (I understand they can be expensive! However, I really don’t want to see any animals or people get hurt. Please try to find a safe way to help your pet.) In addition, all payments CAN be negotiated! If you cannot afford something and want to work something out, please let me know. I will be happy to try to work with your budget! (If your pet proves to be exceptionally difficult to handle you may be upcharged for the next booking, although this almost never happens. But, I often give discounts to very well-behaved pets! If you have put the proper amount of time and effort into your pet, I WILL notice, and you will likely get reduced rates for future bookings!)

- Walks, on a specific route or random depending on owner preference - Time at parks if nearby on walks (not dog parks, just normal parks. Dog parks have been proven to be dangerous rather than beneficial) - Short jogs if requested - Games (outdoor or indoor) and toys - Agility if your pet is so inclined (I find lots of dogs love this much more than simple walks!) - Treat/kibble games (i.e. puzzle toys, searching in a blanket, etc) - Cuddles if your pet is a snugglebug :) - Plenty of pets and attention! - Training if necessary/requested (I strive to make training fun for the animal as it is proven to work better if it is less stressful and positively enforced)
