Pet care experience
I am an avid animal lover, and though I currently don't have dogs, I have owned them all my life. I have over seven years experience in house/pet sitting, as well as dog walking. I am currently offering stays in your home, as well as the services listed below: Cat care (visits in your home for litter changes, feeding, fresh water, interaction). Dog walking and drop-in visits (in your home daily, or as needed). Farm animals and other pets- please contact me, and we can discuss further!

Katlin took care of my pet for almost two weeks while I was out of town, and I knew that Lucy was in good hands the entire time. Katlin is kind and caring and would never let anything happen to your furry friend; I highly recommend her!
Such a great experience, we never worried about our baby for a second. Katlin spoiled the heck out of her and sent us little updates with pictures. Just booked another stay in August.
Katlin was absolutely fantastic with our 8 month old French Bulldog, Winston! This was our first time leaving Winston overnight and to say I was nervous would be an understatement - especially since he can be a bit of a handful. Katlin stayed with Winston from lunch until bedtime (I suggested she not stay overnight as he's not the easiest to sleep with) and she kept us updated the whole time with texts and pictures. We returned early the next day expecting to find him nervously awaiting our arrival, but he was sound asleep and completely content after a day of walks and play. I'd recommend Katlin without hesitation and will definitely use her again!

When we have our meet and greet, I will have you tell me about your pet(s): what their personality is, routines they are used to, any quirks I should be aware of, their behavior, commands they know, etc. We will also go over details such as food and bowl location, walk-route, how often litter is changed, where the pet sleeps, allowed on furniture or no, any medications, vet info, etc. It is helpful to have their vaccine records available as well. If I am staying over at your home, we will also discuss things like housekeeping, retrieving mail, etc. Here is more about my rates for in-home stays: Standard rate: $38/night. Stays longer than one week: $30/night (per dog). Two dog special: $25 for additional dog
A typical day
During dog visits and dog walking, you and I will go over your pup's energy level and how long their walks normally are. I don't mind putting on my running shoes! I have experience walking hyper puppies and senior dogs. Due to my experience, I understand that every dog has a unique personality and different needs. I treat every pet with respect and patience. I enjoy getting to learn what works best for your pet. If there are additional services your pup needs, I am happy to accommodate! When I stay in your home, pups get several walks a day. I make sure to keep to their feeding schedule, as well as keep them off furniture if this is something you would like. With your permission, I enjoy taking pups to dog parks or trails as well. When I am in your home, I will be sure to leave it clean! I always do dishes, clean the kitchen and areas I have been in, and change the sheets on your bed if you would like me too. I also retrieve mail and water plants. If you leave me with a key, I will be sure to organize where to leave it/return it to you.
