I am certified in Pet First Aide and CPR. I have worked in the Veterinary field going on 17 years as a tech and receptionist, as well as being a pet sitting for 8 years now. I also am involved with dog training, provided to the owners, and well as specialty training with my own dog; we have upwards to 10 different certifications and titles for the AKC. I am available to provide in home care/sitting for your pets, because I feel it lessens the stress on them when moms and dads go out of town. Your pets will be treated as my very own, and nothing less then that. I am also trained in providing first aide to your pets and very capable of providing medications if it is needed. I understand that emergencies do happen, but please try to provide at least a 2 to 3 week notice, therefore I can make accommodations for my very own pets and everyone is taken care of appropriately

Katie is the best sitter and the only person we trust with our pups. She is a great caretaker and truly has a love for each of the animals she cares for. She is very detail oriented and nurturing. I have appreciated her communication and ability to make the dogs feel at home in her care.
Katie, is wonderful to work with! Our 2 dogs loved her from the first meeting! I actually think they like her more than us. It was very reassuring to know they were in very capable hands! We are planning to re-book for next year! We highly recommend, you not be disappointed!

I would like to know everything and anything I can about the pet, that way it is easier on them and more comfortable for them to be able to stay in their daily routine, and not have to worry about any change. I definitely prefer to meet any dog( or any animal i am watching for that matter) before staying with them, that way the owner can go over everything with me and all of the questions can be asked and answered. I understand that emergencies do happen, but please try to provide at least a 2 to 3 week notice, therefore I can make accommodations for my very own pets and everyone is taken care of appropriately
A typical day
When your beloved pet is in my care, they are treated as if they were part of my very own family. I can walk wherever it is comfortable for the owner. I love being able to take my own dog on hikes, and would definitely do so with any dog who i am sitting, as long as they are healthy and physically capable of doing so. I understand that emergencies do happen, but please try to provide at least a 2 to 3 week notice, therefore I can make accommodations for my very own pets and everyone is taken care of appropriately
