I love and adore animals! From pet sitting for neighbors while growing up to caring for my dog I enjoy spending time with furry friends. The love that pets so openly share is a gift to cherish and an example to live by. They connect us to the nature of simply being alive and how to enjoy the present moment.

Katherine was great with our 3 dogs and cat! All of our furry family members ( 3 dogs and a cat) immediately liked Katherine on the meet and greet and then again during her stay with them. She took wonderful care of them and made sure they took their medication on time , fed them , walked them and played with them . Katherine kept in contact with us while we were away and sent great photos to us of all of them. Katherine is very attentive to all of their detailed needs. I trust Katherine with our pets and home and already requested her to care them for again. I highly recommend Katherine to others for pet sitting needs. She is great!!
Our daughter, Katie, when around age 3 would help with taking care of Holly, our Dalmatian. And as she grew older, she was also responsible for the care of our other pets which included guinea pigs and gerbils. Then when she would babysit for families with dogs, she would care for their dogs as well. She particularly enjoyed a family that raised Shelties because she was able to help out with the puppies. And as a college student, she took care of Ginger, a German Shepherd. She believes that pets are family members who deserve our love and care. And she says that is what inspires her to want to care for them.
I have known Katie for several years and have found her to be kind, thoughtful, responsible, caring and just a great person. She has been around my dogs and is great with them and they all really like her. She is definitely an animal lover and I would be quite happy for her to take care of, or walk my dogs anytime!

I make sure their water bowl is always filled. I ensure they are fed appropriately throughout the day. Allowing them sufficient time in the yard and taking them for frequent walks so they can take care of their business is always key. Many dogs love being interactive. So I often take them running or play games with them outside. Bringing them out into nature for hikes is always fun.

Availability
I enjoy spending time going for daily walks with dogs. As well as stopping to pet any cats I see along the way. When a friendly furry comes my way I always make time to pet and talk to them. When I live with animals I make sure to include them in my routine by taking them out in the morning and the evening before bed.
