Pet care experience
I grew up in a dog family and have had my own dog for three years. I have experience with little dogs, medium dogs, large dogs, puppies, senior dogs, and dogs with special health needs. I have a Scottish Terrier who loves to play, chase, and wrestle other dogs. To be quite honest, I’m signed up for Rover so he has doggy buddies to hang out with here and there. He loves to play but also knows how to leave dogs alone when they don’t want anything to do with him. I have a fenced in yard and take multiple walks daily and let my own dog come and go into the backyard. Adding an extra dog into the mix would be so fun. I think dogs are the cutest and I’d love to have a second lil bud hanging around.

We have a fully fenced in back yard and a dog of our own who is friendly to other dogs. My dog LOVES to play with other dogs. He likes to chase, be chased, and to wrestle. Your dog will have free rein of the house if it’s well house trained, or just range of the first floor (without carpet) if not. I will be home all day to keep an eye on dogs and give scratches and cuddles as desired.

Let me know if your dog likes to mark so I can gate off the upstairs (carpeted) and check furniture legs for cleaning at the end of the day. If I know, I can stay on top of messes :)
A typical day
Finn usually spends the morning in the backyard while it’s cool and shady, snuffling in the vegetables and digging holes in between flowers. We usually go on a walk around 9-10am. We usually visit the giant church lawn nearby, which is used by lots of neighborhood dogs and has tons of smells, or if we have extra time we go to the city park two blocks away.

My husband and I work from home full time, so we are at home all day, every day. I usually take my breaks out in the backyard to get some fresh air, and I always take my dog out with me while I do. No big deal to add an extra dog or two to the mix.
