Pet care experience
I have grown up with dogs (mostly golden retrievers and labs) and since moving, have been unable to keep one in my small apartment (I do have a cat!). I definitely have a soft spot for senior cats and dogs! I absolutely LOVE cats as well, and have 17+ years experience caring for them. You know how much your fur baby misses you when you're gone, and I would love to keep them company while you’re away. My availability in the summer is pretty open because I am a teacher, but during most of the winter months I am limited to school hours. I have lots of time and love to give! 💜

I always make sure to meet with the owners beforehand (if possible) and take notes on each specific pet. I will always be sure to lock up afterwards and take out any poop/litter bags before I leave. I love animals, and make sure to match each pet’s energy and comfort level whether they’re shy, take a while to warm up, or absolutely love people.

Just what size the dog is. I love all breeds but would be unable to walk a dog over 100lbs that is not good on a leash because of my physical size (I'm 5'1 and 100lbs myself)
A typical day
Dogs: Walks, fetch, belly rubs, pets, playing with toys, and of course treats! Cats: Pets, cuddles, under the chin and butt scratches, belly rubs (if they like it), brushing, playing with toys/lasers, and always treats!

I absolutely love all animals and I am available after school hours (4:00 or later) but I have a pretty open availability during the summer.
