Pet care experience
I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Biotechnology & Conservation. I wanted to be a zoo keeper but when that didn't work out I fell into dog grooming. I've been a professional groomer for 5 years and an animal lover my whole life. I have 2 dogs of my own, a pit-lab mix named Gingerbread and a fat and happy mutt named Daisy. I love all animals, big and small, furry and scaled.

I just moved to Maryland from New York and needed to find someone who would stay with my 9 year old dogs when I travel. My pets never stayed in a kennel and I was fortunate to have a family member who stayed with them in New York. My son recommended Rover.com and I am so glad that I took his advice. I met Katie in my home and found her to be friendly and very accommodating to my needs. She stayed in my home for one night and I have to say I left and had no concerns. It makes traveling stress free and enables me to enjoy my trips. I would highly recommend her to anyone who needs a sitter in their home.
