Pet care experience
I was fortunate enough to care for a gorgeous rescue greyhound for 10 years. We were able to provide her with a happy and enriching forever home. After sadly losing her in 2021, we are looking to rescue another Greyhound as we are clearly a home that needs a doggy presence. I have astounded people with how well and quickly dogs take a liking to me, and am not afraid of big dogs. My grandparents guard dog, Jackson, was my best friend from the age of 12-22. Unfortunately, after a great friendship he too has passed. So I look forward to the future Rover can bring

I was initially very nervous of leaving my dog with a stranger but Katie provided lots of updates, pippin seemed to take to her right away would recommend her. :)
Katie loves dogs and has cared for our nervous greyhound with kindness and fun. She is very confident and conscientious even with dogs she’s never met before; we attended a charity dog walk with over 30 dogs and within 5 mins she had been trusted to look after several dogs. She’s happy to walk tiny pooches or large loveable hounds (and anything in between!).
Katie is amazing with animals. Having had a dog and a cat herself, she’s grown up around animals so knows how to care for them, as well as giving them lots of love and attention!
Katie was amazing with my 3 boys! Especially my border terrier he can be very nervous on walks especially when approached by other dogs but he was absolutely fine when we first walked together with Katie and from then onwards they’ve all loved her! So friendly and lovely ☺️

I will give the dog their space, and depending on our bonding time, the attention and cuddles they may request. In an owners home I will be respectful and ensure the house is left as found. It is nice caring for dogs in a space that is familiar to them

My dog used to hate being touched on her ears (even if it was for cuddles) so if I could request any information of your dog’s needs be specified, I’d be very grateful. For instance if they are sensitive to loud noises, or don’t like birds, it’s always great to know, to avoid any contact that may lead to the dog distrusting me.
A typical day
I enjoy playing with dogs both outside and indoors (where possible). My favourite spot to take my dog used to be around Tylney Hall, as there are so many small routes dogs enjoy exploring.

Availability
I am currently working full time, in a hybrid role that can be fully remote if I wish. Dogs can fit easily into this routine as I can offer morning, lunch or evening walks.
