I know how to care for and train dogs and cats, as I have had two golden retrievers for most of my life. As I have had two dogs, I am capable of caring for more than one dog at a time. I fully trained my second dog, so if your dog isn't fully trained, I can help! I know the kind of exercise they need and the care that they deserve. I also cat sit my friends cats often (3 cats), so I know how to care for all animals. I will take the dog for long walks and make sure they get the exercise they need. There are multiple parks right by my house, so there will be socialization and a safe space to run.

Katie was great! Our dog Sneakers is well trained but very high-energy and has dog reactivity issues. We are very upfront with the sitters about that from the get-go because we want to make sure everyone is comfortable with the arrangement. We also needed to board Sneakers over New Year's on a short notice, which can be pretty challenging. Fortunately for us, we really lucked out by finding Katie! Katie was very flexible about setting up a meet-and-greet, as well as drop-off and pick-up. She was easy to communicate with, responsive and conscientious. She was comfortable handling our rambunctious beast, and returned to us a happy and nicely tired out dog! We are very glad to have found her, and wouldn't hesitate to board Sneakers with her again!
