Pet care experience
I have cared for my own puppy, he is a shih tzu and is 4.5 years old and crazy as the day we got him! I've pet sat my neighbours cats and dogs, even fish! I love animals so much they give me such joy and I can't explain how excited I am to be around animals and give them all the love, cuddles and kisses! I see pets as family members and will always treat them as if they were someone's human child because they are ❤️

Katie looked after my cat for 2 days and went in to check on her and just stayed and put the TV on and chilled out, she brought snacks with her, cleaned up and took her rubbish with her even though I said she didn't have to :) my little girl loved her when she came in and sat with her the majority of the time she was there. Katie sent me photos and videos and deleted them once sent so she didn't keep them on her phone but made sure I felt happy that my baby was okay and happy and I wasn't feeling fully detached from her. Really sad she has now moved away to Northampton but I highly recommend her! She is fabulous and has such a love for animals!

When coming to a owners home to care for their furbaby I will definitely ask a list of set questions such as Where are they okay with me sitting Are their pets allowed on the furniture Is there anything they don't allow their pets to do If I need more things like food or poo bags to those left out for me and if they are okay with me getting things like this out of their cupboards Am I okay to use facilities Is there anything you would rather me bring with me than use of yours such as glasses, any crockery, blankets, toilet roll etc Can I park my car on your drive or am I better parking on the road I would also ask potential clients if they would like to meet me before booking as it is such a big thing choosing someone to care for your furbaby or even be in your home at any point

If they don't like other dogs If they have had prior issues with certain size or breeds of dogs Does your dog listen to certain commands Is there anything specific you do when it comes to crossing a road so I stay consistent Do you let people pet your dog(s) on walks Is there anyone I should keep a look out for that you don't want near your dog for any reason Have they done a poo yet today, do you want them walking somewhere specific that you can guarantee they will go etc to make sure they've managed all their business for the day
A typical day
I have a car and a clip that buckles into the seat belt clip and I have a national trust pass so I can take them there, any of the big parks that could be nearby to your home, I love next to delapre Abbey and going round there is so nice! I'm all up for playing fetch, Frisby's and any games

Availability
I am a student at the University of Northampton and pet care would fit in so well around my studies and being able to bring in money would make my life so much easier! Not to mention the joy the furbabies would bring would make me happier through my time at university whilst writing my dissertation I used to live in Dubai and my all time life goal is to move back and work in Events and I really look forward to that!
