Pet care experience
Growing up with animals I have always had a love for them. I have been relied on to take care of various animals for various lengths of time since I was 15. I have taken care of dogs with special needs such as medications, diet restrictions, and other needs. I have taken care of cats and fish as well. I have also taken care of horses, goats, and sheep. There are no animals I am not willing to love and take care of no matter their needs!

Katie was a good fit for our Yorkshire terrier. She followed all the instructions I had, and took our pup on walks. We received several cute pictures during the day. We also had Katie stay in our home and she left it clean. She deflated and folded up the air mattress, sheets, and comforter that we put out for her stay on. I would book her again.
Katie von Steinman is a wonderful dog sitter. She is amazing and taking care of other people‘s animals she treats them all is if they belong to her and loves them all dearly. Katie is really good about making sure if an animal needs medication that they get it at the proper time and is very well taken care of. Katie respects everybody’s homes as if they belong to her and she leaves them in better shape than when she arrived. She’s good with all types of animals and has the ability and know how to take care of anything that would arise while you’re away. I am always thrilled when I can have Katie help me take care of my animals when I’m away.
Katie has house/dog sat for several times, she is trustworthy and loves animals. Our 4 dogs love her, she took care of them for days at a time even slept with them. We miss her services very much now that she has moved on to an education at Michigan St. But are lucky to enlist her younger sister. I whole heartdly recommend her.

Currently, I do not offer boarding pets in my home as I am a college student living in a dorm. If I could have a backyard I would! I always ensure that a pet is comfortable in their environment. I like to adapt to their needs and make sure that they are happy. It can be stressful to a pet for their family to leave, so I do my best to make sure they are comfortable, happy, and safe while their family is gone.

I would like to know the basic information about a dog before I meet them. This is just things such as temperament, any special needs the dog may have if they have a certain schedule, and just a brief rundown of the dog and anything you may think I need to know before I meet them.
A typical day
I love to go on walks with dogs and really get out and enjoy nature. I love to go on hikes and really just have a great time outside. I love to play run around and play with dogs If that is something that they enjoy. I love to just play fetch or tug a war or whatever the dog enjoys. I find joy in watching them just run around and have fun. I also love to just have a calm day if that is more of a dog's speed. I love to go to different parks, I also love to walk around the MSU campus.

Right now I am a full-time college student with lots of free time on my hands. That being said I am also missing my furry friends back home and have plenty of love to share! All of this free time allows for me to best take care of your beloved animals.
