Pet care experience
We love dogs and are passionate about caring for them and learning more about each individual pet. We have two small labradoodles who are friendly and love to play with other dogs. We frequently send our dogs to pet sitters when we travel and would love to offer the same great experience to other travelers or neighbors! We are happy to help reinforce any training that you are working on to continue those positive behaviors. We enjoy going for walks, hikes, and the dog park with our pups and would love to include yours or take them on their own. **We do both work and our dogs are sometimes crated during the day during the week for up to 5 hours so we are only able to watch dogs who are also comfortable in their crates (unless it falls on a weekend we’re off).** We will love each and every dog like it’s our own and look forward to getting to know their unique personality.

A typical day
We find so much joy in playing with dogs and watching the way they take in the world. We play lots of fetch with the chuck it, explore the neighborhood on walks or relax with a chew toy in the house. The Howe dog park is a frequent visit for us or we like walking the trail along the waterfront in downtown port orchard. If the weather decides to be rainy, we have an iDig where the dogs can embrace their inner scavenger and dog for the treats hidden in the pockets of the toy.

Availability
Considering we have two dogs of our own, pet care fits very nicely into our daily routine. After 8-9 hours of sleep overnight we let the dogs out to potty and have breakfast for at least an hour or two before we have to work (if we work that day). We allow pets on our couch and love to settle down at night with some brushing or petting/snuggle time.
