Amazing with Pets! ?? ?? I have known Katie for nearly 10 years. She has been an amazing, patient, and loving pet owner. Katie adopted a Rottweiler named Toby. Before Katie met Toby he lived in a busy home with several other animals. Toby had anxiety and didn’t do well when his owners were out of the home. One day Toby ran away from home and spent a bit of time on his own as a stray. Katie took Toby in until his owners were found. The owners decided that their home was too busy for Toby and asked Katie to adopt him. Katie excepted with an open heart. Although the first few months were challenging Katie never gave up on Toby. It took a while for Toby to feel comfortable at home on his own. Some of the mischief got up to included: chewing door knobs, removing trim from walls around the door, opening the window and jumping through the screen of the second story window and escaping. Katie worked with Toby so kindly and patiently. She taught him how to walk on a leash, how to give hugs, how to stay down and not jump up on people, how to be quiet, to go down stairs, to pick up his “baby” and go to his bed. It was truly miraculous to see Toby’s transformation over the years. Toby and Katie also enjoyed car rides, cuddles and long walks together. Katie also cared for a friends bunny while they were away and had a cat named Sebastian. You can’t go wrong with Katie! I bet your pet will love her! ?
