Pet care experience
I grew up with at least two dogs my whole life (sometimes three!), and helped train them, play with them, and walked them daily. I’ve been dog sitting for three years for a co-worker for weeks at a time, and take them on long walks/hikes, and have had to administer them medicine while their owner was away as well. I’ve always thought people should be more like dogs - loving, kind, non judgemental, and forgiving. I can’t help but smile any time I see a dog, and can’t wait until I am able to own one of my own. I am currently very free, so I’d love to walk dogs every day! I usually walk at least 45 minutes, and like to take longer walks and hikes too :)

Katie is a great pet sitter! She house sat my dog who is a handful, a large gal with leash aggression and fear of skateboards, loud noises etc. She was super patient with my long list of triggers and tips. She was very sweet and kind to my pup and responsible with her decisions about where to take her. She sent me updates and pics of my dog during my weekend away She also left my house in tip top shape. Highly recommended!
Katie is great with dogs! I have a very timid sheltie mix named Lily who usually either barks at new people or hides from them. She warmed up to Katie almost instantly and now whenever she gets to see Katie she is super excited and runs up to greet her. Katie is also very conscientious and careful with dogs' specific needs--Lily has a sensitive stomach and will vomit or have soft stool if feed human food. Katie makes sure that Lily doesn't get food that will make her sick and whenever we've needed her to give Lily medicine she's been super on top of it. She genuinely enjoys hiking with dogs so I know Lily will get plenty of exercise and attention when she stays with Katie. It feels great knowing I can trust Katie to keep Lily safe, healthy, and happy when I need to leave her at home while I am out of town.
I’ve known Katie for about a decade and she has nothing but love for dogs! She’s respectful, professional, and will care for your fur family like they are her own. She has years of experience, and I would recommend her to anyone, anytime!
