Pet care experience
PLEASE READ: Hi! I’ll be on maternity leave from March 1st- July 1st. After that I’ll only take pups who are okay with children/babies. We have two separate levels to our home and you can feel secure that your pup will never be left around or near the baby, but we both should feel safe when they interact. I’ll start Meet and Greets again in late June. — Spacious yard with ample play areas for dogs — Multiple living areas for dogs that need a little more space or a quiet break — Thoughtful care tailored to your pets specific needs — Excellent communication and top notch photos so you feel connected to your pet while you’re away — We only care for pets from one family at a time! If you’re looking for someone to spend ample time with your pets, look no further. I’m Katie and I’ve been caring for dogs and cats for over 17 years. I’m a full time stay-at-home mom and dog mom. I started rover when I was in graduate school and continue to take clients for in home boarding one at a time to keep things stress free for your pup and mine. Most of my regular clients like that we offer a quiet environment, daily walks, and that I’m home most of the day. I take anxious dogs as long as they aren’t destructive or excessively loud. If they are calmed by human presence and want someone to hang with all day, then we’d be a great fit.
Reviews
We love leaving Leo with Katie. She takes such good care of him and sends great updates and photos.
Katie does such a wonderful job with Millie. We know she is not the easiest dog to sit as she has some anxiety but Katie understands Millie and knows how to put her at ease. I appreciate how communicative and thorough she is!
Katie is great! Always quick to respond, sends us lots of photos and our pups are always very well cared for.
Katie does a great job watching my dog Poppy. Poppy gets really nervous when I go away but she seems to settle in and relax when staying with Katie.

We have ample space in our home for your dog to feel comfortable. We have a downstairs apartment where we keep your pups toys, and food so they have their own space. They’ll be able to come through the whole house as much as they’d like but the separate space will be used for meal times and if we need to leave. Some dogs prefer to stay downstairs most of the stay, they’ll still have full access to anywhere they want to go. Our backyard is fully fenced in and we spend lots of time outside for supervised play. We only take pets from one family at a time as we found more than that can be an overwhelming adjustment for both our dog and yours.

-Please let me know if you have a senior dog or any dog with special needs, health issues or any injuries so that I can provide appropriate care. -Please let me know in advance if you have a highly active dog. -No reactive/unsafe dogs, no resource guarding particularly with toys (we use communal toys supervised primarily to avoid this) -Must be leash trained, must be potty trained
A typical day
We will take your dog for walks 1-2 times per day unless you request otherwise. We take your dog to nearby parks (5 min drive or 20 min walk) for playtime and adventures. I play fetch, tug-of-war or anything else with your dog. If you leave me treats we can also work on training. Special requests such as constant care for dogs with separation anxiety, additional walks exceeding twice a day, or senior needs (out of the ordinary) can be discussed at additional rates.
